A little bit about Cort...

Cort Huffman is a lifelong and multi-generational resident of Shelbyville and Bedford County. He and Angi have raised their two children, Gage (23) and Zoe (20), together and have passed on their love for the area to them. 
He is a 1989 graduate of Shelbyville Central High School. He earned his Associate of Science degree from Motlow State Community College in 1995, his Bachelor of Science degree from MTSU in 1997, his Master of Education from MTSU in 1999, and his Educational Specialist degree in 2001. 
Cort has always been very active in the community. He was active in the Shelbyville Jaycees for many years and is currently a member of the Shelbyville Lions Club. Along with those, he was on the board for Relay for Life and is currently on the Association for The Celebration. Cort has coached many different sports and ages, everything from K league soccer to high school baseball and golf.  
Cort has worked as a teacher and administrator in Shelbyville for over 25 years. He was also a small business owner for 23 years, helping the community with his business, Cort's Tents. His dedication to the community has continued in the last 30 years through his part-time work with The Celebration. Now, Cort continues to work as an educator but has worked to expand his skillset into real estate for nearly 10 years.
