Hi, I’m Zapa! I was born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sales.
After college, I moved to Memphis, where I spent a year working in sales for the Memphis Grizzlies. That experience taught me a lot, but it also helped me realize I wanted a career that challenged me differently, gave me the opportunity to build something of my own, and allowed me to make a more personal impact. That led me to real estate.
Real estate had always interested me. I grew up watching HGTV, but I didn’t grow up around people who could teach me about real estate, investing, or building wealth through property. While living in Memphis, I began networking with real estate professionals, listening to podcasts, reading books, and intentionally surrounding myself with people in the industry. The more I learned, the more I knew this was where I wanted to be.
What I enjoy most about real estate is the people. I’ve learned that my strength in sales isn’t convincing someone to buy something. It’s listening, helping, supporting, and making sure people feel taken care of once they’ve decided what they want. Buying or selling a home is a major decision, and I want my clients to have someone in their corner who genuinely cares about helping them navigate it.
For me, real estate is about building relationships, continuing to challenge myself, and helping people move confidently toward what’s next. I’m grateful every time someone chooses me to be a part of that process
